MAY CONTEST RULES:

For the May contest, contestants must register in person or on the telephone by May 4th. If we have 4 or more entries, the kits will be available on that date for purchase for $15.00. The contest is limited to the first 8 registered contestants. Due to upcoming surgery on our photographer, all entries will need to be returned to Wonders Bead Shop by Wednesday May 15th, with the winner being announced in the June's email newsletter. The winner will receive a $50.00 gift certificate for Wonders of the World Bead Shop. Contestants will receive a 25% off coupon for their next bead purchase.

Classes must have at least 4 signups to hold the classes.

WHAT: Gemstone Folklore Class
Come and learn how to determine the metaphysical properties of minerals and gemstones. Taught by Pamela Barclay, owner of Wonders of the World. (The class cannot be held unless four or more people sign up by the day of the class.)

WHAT: Advanced Gemstone Folklore class
Advanced Gemstone Folklore class is available to all people who have attended the first class.
It is a continuation of the training from the first class.

WHAT: BASIC BEADING
If you want to learn the basics of beadstringing this is the class for you. You will learn about the materials available and how to use them to make your own stylish designs. We make a bracelet and earrings in class.

WHAT: Captive Cabochon
This is an elegant and easy technique you can use to encase most sizes of cabochons.

WHAT: The Wonderful World of Hemp
There are many ways to showcase your beads and the use of hemp is a great (and inexpensive) method. Learn the simple knotting techniques used for centuries to create decorative bracelets.
This class should be great fun for kids from 12 years to kids of 75!
